Open the instrument EDS file, connect to the 309 gateway (server) and you can read/write objects, trend SDOs and PDOs, issue NMT commands (if allowed by the server), perform data transfers / firmware updates etc.
As members of SIIS we developed the first version of this client as early as 2012 and have since tested and used it with gateways from all major subsea control system vendors.
The software can be downloaded and tested freely for a period, so get a copy now and see how well it works for you. Time limited licenses are also available if you only need it for an FAT/SIT e.g.
