ClampOn awarded subsea sensors contract for Total's Egina Field
ClampOn has been awarded a contract to supply subsea sand monitoring and PIG detection equipment to FMC Technologies for the Total operated Egina field off the coast of Nigeria.
The contract value is substantial. The sensors are being manufactured at ClampOn’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway, and are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2013. The Egina deepwater field lies about 200 kilometres off the coast of Nigeria in water depths of around 1600 metres.
The contract proves once again that ClampOn is the leading supplier of non-intrusive sensors for subsea and topside applications. ClampOn’s continued focus on product quality and reliability is highly valued by operators worldwide.
ClampOn has made a promise; Always Numero Uno, and we will strive every day to meet that promise.
