
The event attracted 15 participants from four operating companies, and was a great success. For the two-day course, six complete sand monitoring systems were available, offering participants an excellent opportunity to practice using both the software and hardware. Besides the ClampOn system itself, sand production in general and methods of reducing sand production were also discussed. The feedback was extremely positive, suggesting that this will be an annual event. ClampOn now expects to organise similar training courses in other locations as well.
