ClampOn non-intrusive Flow Temperature Monitor

ClampOn’s non-intrusive sensor system provides continuous flow temperature data from the outside of a pipeline. The solution uses external measurements combined with an advanced thermal model to calculate the internal flow temperature without any penetration of the pipe wall.

The flow temperature calculation uses a calibrated model that links external readings to the thermal behavior of the pipeline. This approach provides accurate and stable flow temperature trends that help operators detect changes in process conditions and respond quickly to deviations that may affect system performance or integrity.

The sensor is installed directly on the pipe surface and can be mounted on both existing and new lines. Installation does not require shutdowns or modifications. The system integrates with standard control and data platforms and operates with minimal maintenance.

The ClampOn Subsea Flow Temperature Monitor can be integrated into ClampOn’s range of Compact Subsea sensors to provide temperature measurement alongside sand monitoring, pig detection, vibration monitoring or leak detection.
