ClampOn has signed a contract with Aibel for supply of ultrasonic-based sensors to Statoil’s gigantic Johan Sverdrup field development project.
The contract includes manufacturing and delivery of topside instruments for monitoring sand and corrosion-erosion on all of the oil field’s production wells. Delivery takes place mid-2016.
“It is important to be able to deliver high quality, cost-effective solutions, especially now that fewer projects are profitable enough to get the go-ahead for development. Being selected as supplier of sand monitoring and corrosion-erosion monitoring instruments tells us that we have the best solutions for ultrasonic monitoring” says Anja Bilsbak, ClampOn’s Area Sales Manager for Norway.
“The fact that Statoil and Aibel chose ClampOn for this contract shows that we still deliver on our slogan “Always Numero Uno”. We are proud to provide sensors for the Johan Sverdrup oil field”.
