As Total starts up production from the Laggan and Tormore fields in the West of Shetland area, ClampOn service engineers are on-site looking after the ClampOn subsea instrumentation package
ClampOn has supplied Subsea Sand Monitors, Subsea PIG Detectors, Subsea Vibration Monitors, and Subsea Corrosion-Erosion Monitors (CEM) to the Laggan-Tormore gas and condensate fields, which are located in 600 metres of water. According to Total, the field will produce 90,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and it is an important component of the company’s production growth.
