# ClampOn receives the OTC Spotlight on New Technology Award 2012

ClampOn has been awarded the prestigious OTC Spotlight on New Technology Award by the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).

The annual recognition of innovative offshore E&P technologies acknowledges the ClampOn Subsea Corrosion-Erosion Monitor which provides real-time measurement and monitoring of wall thickness loss in pipes and other metal structures. The non-intrusive instrument can be retrofitted or pre-installed on the outside of a pipe to provide pipe wear rates over entire sections up to 2 metres in length.

Winners will receive their award at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, USA, in May, 2012.
