The first ClampOn sensor was installed in BP’s Gyda field in the North Sea. Since
then ClampOn has supplied more than 8000 topside and subsea instruments globally.
From the very beginning, ClampOn’s business strategy has been to develop and
manufacture sensors based on a generic technology platform, and at the same time
perform different operations. The Ultrasonic Intelligent Sensor technology is
the platform for all of our products. The sensor functions are determined by different
versions of ClampOn software.
Some of the most important factors for our success have been the commitment to
quality products based on ease of assembly, selection of components, subcontractors,
in-house production and standardization in providing ‘state-of-the-art’ solutions
to our clients.
